I received my Play All Day Elmo, free from Crowdtap. Honestly, I really don’t know who loved Elmo more my kids or me. I have a 4,6,& 7-year-old and honestly my 6 and 7-year-old loved to play with Elmo just as much as my 4-year-old. I know that it is geared more towards toddlers and preschoolers, but honestly the games like Freeze Dance, Play Hop and Count, and Red Light Green Light makes it for older kids as well. My kids took the games and turned them into something that was more competitive and honestly we all had so much fun doing it.
Elmo says over 150 responses and has 8 games and activities for you and your children to enjoy. He is so soft and cuddly and has two settings toddler and preschooler. The toddler setting is of course geared towards younger kids; with responses that are more appropriate for kids from 18m-2 years old basically more simple play. The Preschooler setting unlocks all of the interactive games and the responses from Elmo, being little more advanced so responses are more age appropriate.
Traditionally the activation button is in the hands of toys like these, but on this Elmo it is in the nose. I find it to be a little weird for it to be in the nose, the button is very easy to squeeze and you really don’t have to go searching for it. It is better if you squeeze it from the side versus the top of his nose, and this toy does require 4 AA batteries, which are included.
