So recently I purchased the Covergirl Tru Blend primer, after I went to Ulta on a hunt for something new.
After searching for a while and settling on Ulta's brand of primer I came across the new Tru Blend primer. The packaging for it is very clean with the bottle itself being a basic white and either gold, rose gold, or silver as the background for the lettering.
There are 3 formulations oily, normal and combo skin.
I snatched both the oily, as well as, the combo for my skin since I tend to run a little oily on my forehead and everywhere else is more of a combo type of skin.
The product is a white "cream", that I found to be kind of "liquidy" and runny more of like a lotion which I don't to much care for. I wish that it was a little bit of a thicker formula. While it is thinner formula than some other primers, I find that a little of it goes a long way seeing as it warms up and thins out even more as you apply it.
Now while it is white it does apply clear and does absorb in rather quickly so there is no need to worry about it streaking or having to continuously rub it in.
Neither formula was drying at all especially the oily formula which I was expecting it to have, it sort of was more hydrating that drying maybe because it was more runny than some of the other primers out on the market.
Overall it is a good primer nice smooth even feel. It does help the foundation stay on my face and not settle in to the lines on my face like a few other primers have done. It is also super affordable at Ulta it was only $8. Worth you giving a try.
